asiCast 187: Introducing the Barb Data Hub
Barb Audiences recently announced the introduction of its Data Hub, a way to simplify access and use of Barb data by offering more choice in data access and reduction in duplication. In this asiCast, our Research Director Richard Marks speaks with Barb’s Head of Data Science, Khaled El Serafy, and Sam Tomlinson, Chief Client Officer at MediaSense.
The project involves collaboration between Barb, MediaSense and Snowflake, and Richard explores how the Hub has been constructed and the contribution each company makes. Khaled and Sam outline the main benefits of moving toward a more centralised approach to storing, processing and distributing Barb data.
Barb has also recently issued two further tenders, one for a Barb Campaign Hub and the other for Barb Panel Plus. Richard explores the role the Data Hub is to play in relation to these other initiatives.
The 2025 asi International Television & Video Conference will be held in Copenhagen on 5th-7th November.
