asiCast 175: Who Cares? – measurement and accountability
Following concerns that had been raised about the current state of the advertising business, two former agency leaders, Brian Jacobs, Founder and CEO of BJ&A, and Nick Manning, Co-Founder of Manning Gottlieb Media, decided to set up an initiative (Who Cares?) that would encourage like-minded people to look more closely at some of the problems.
In this asiCast, Brian Jacobs talks to Denise Turner, Chief Executive of Route and convenor of a working group on Measurement and Accountability, one of the five groups that will be reporting on their findings at an event that has been organised on September 12th in London.
The five areas being looked at initially are:
Business Models – Michael Farmer
Trading Transparency and Trust – Jenny Biggam
Measurement and Accountability – Denise Turner
Recruitment and Wellbeing – Crispin Reed
Brands and Journalism – Ruben Schreurs
Other speakers who will be making a contribution are: Lucy Jameson, Founder of the Uncommon Creative Studio; Jessica Lovell, CSO at Wonderhood Studios; and Pippa Glucklich, CEO at Electric Glue. The event will conclude with a conversation between David Wheldon, President Emeritus of the WFA, and Sir John Hegarty, Founder of BBH.
